Junior Reading groups and book clubs are a hugely popular way of engaging young readers. They can increase the pleasure of reading as
they enable readers to :
- Discover new authors and genres
- Share ideas
- Explore differences of opinion
- Find common interests
The club named “Imaginative Dreamers” is aimed to young readers between the ages of 8 and 12 years old. We meet virtually twice a month to discuss books, journal, create and have fun!
Each participant receives their own copy of a featured Manitoba Young Readers’ Choice Award (MYRCA) – 2021 Sundogs Nominee book.
