Gifts
Gifts of books and other materials are welcomed by the Library, but with the understanding that they will not necessarily be added to the collection. The same standards of selection are applied to gifts as to materials purchased from Library funds. Gifts which do not meet the Library’s standards will be placed in our annual book sale.
Monetary
Cash donations are gratefully accepted. Since the Library is considered a charitable organization (registration number: 0888016-50), an official receipt for income tax purposes will be issued.
Anyone wishing to make a cash donation can do so at any time and will receive a receipt for any donation above $10. Cash donations can be done via e-transfer to stplibrary@jrlibrary.mb.ca (security question: donation / answer: gift). We also accept cheques or cash.
